NASA’s Space Launch System, commonly called SLS, is a super heavy-lift rocket developed to carry astronauts, spacecraft, and cargo beyond Earth orbit. Designed as the primary launch vehicle for the Artemis program, SLS provides the power needed to send the Orion spacecraft toward the Moon and support future exploration of deep space.
The first flight of SLS was Artemis I, an uncrewed test mission launched on November 16, 2022. During the 25.5-day mission, Orion traveled around the Moon and thousands of miles beyond it before safely returning to Earth on December 11, 2022. Artemis I successfully tested SLS, Orion, and the supporting ground systems before astronauts were placed aboard.
Artemis II became the first crewed mission of the Artemis program when it launched on April 1, 2026. NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch joined Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen on a journey around the Moon aboard Orion. The mission did not land on the lunar surface; instead, it tested the spacecraft and its systems during a crewed lunar flyby before safely returning to Earth on April 10, 2026.

• Assembly may require a wide array of pressure to connect parts. Use care during assembly and avoid excessive force. Excessive force or impact may cause parts to break. Broken pieces may have sharp edges.
• This product is intended for hobby, educational, and display purposes. Handle all parts with care during assembly.
• Using a heat source such as lighter/heat gun (at a safe distance as to not burn product or yourself) and some minor rubbing will take care of the plastic “hairs” that may be present. Not required for successful assembly of model kit. ONLY to be done by an ADULT. Heat sources are HOT and will BURN YOU if you let it get too close.
• There is a lovely english cream golden retreiver (dog) on site at Bridg Manufacturing. We kindly ask you to have some understanding, should you find a dog hair in your kit, dispose of the hair, and continue on.
• Bridg Manufacturing, nor the model designer(s), are not liable for injuries or damages resulting from improper assembly, misuse, or modification of this product.
• Read Safety Information
• Carefully remove all parts from the package and verify that all pieces are present before starting assembly.
• This model requires glue for normal assembly. Small amounts of hobby-grade adhesive may be used at the builder's discretion (super glue is fine).
• Some parts may require firm pressure to fully seat together. Avoid excessive force that could damage the model. Force only in intended direction and try not to force in incorrect direction. Sideways? Diagonal? SNAP!
• Heat sources can burn you and, should you choose to use them, it should only be done by an adult.
• Assembly is easiest when performed on a clean, flat work surface with good lighting.

Instructions
I do not have exact step by step instructions, however, I do have reference photos, notes, tips, and tricks below. Use these to assemble and assemble WITHOUT glue first. Once you understand assembly then glue. It doesn't take long to glue once you understand assembly and, if you wanted, you could get away without glueing almost all of this (not recommended).

The black and white checkered looking panels on the SLS are known as " Roll Panels" (used for photogrammetry).
NOTE:
Long black pieces for Core Stage (14 required + 1 extra)
Long white pieces for Core Stage (10 required + 1 extra)
Short black pieces for Orion Spacecraft (8 required + 1 extra)
The long pieces go in the orange and white sections of the core stage (bigger diameter). The short black pieces go in the white Orion Spacecraft (smaller diameter).
Ensure you reference all photos above and below this to ensure you assemble these right.
I have included 1 extra of each of these pieces in each kit, just in case.
TIP: Gently place the black in left side of hole, ensuring it does not slide in past the outer diameter. Then, gently place the white piece next to it and simultaneously slide both almost all the way in.
Shown below is the front-middle of the Core Stage.

Follow same suit except alternate colors. Push all pieces in flush with the outer diameter: TIP: something hard and flat like the flat section of a butter knife can be used to press pieces in all the way.

Insert black nozzles onto bottom of Core Stage and begin Core Stage Assembly.
NOTE: It matters what yellow disks you have and orientation. Reference this photo and those below to ensure correct amount and orientation of yellow disks.
Then, insert long filament as shown.
Cut just above surface with scissors.
Repeat until all holes are filled. (NOTE: I cut these a little too long and had to trim them down. You don't need them above the surface very far as these are mainly for alignment. Too long will result in pieces not seating all the way. Even just a tiny bit of leaning due to not seating will project into the rest of the rocket and make it look crooked once completed.
Front View: Notice orientation and amount of yellow disks are each section.
Back View: Notice orientation and amount of yellow disks are each section.
Back View: Top yellow disk orientation matters. It doesn't matter if smooth or bumpy side it up or down but it matters rotation-wise. Same with the Orion Spacecraft.
After all sections are put together, make sure all slots line up for each of their yellow, orange, and grey fluid lines. Then, assemble white and black rocket boosters in the same manner.
GLUEING: If they all line up, you are good to now pull apart, glue, and re-assemble. I apologize if you are annoyed by this but it's important to make sure you understand assembly before permanently gluing together.
DECALS:
I recommend applying glue to the actual rocket and then placing decal on.
I recommend gluing 1/2 of decal on first, like shown below, letting it dry and then gluing other half to help the decal bend.
It is recommended to use the tip of that butter knife you had to hold decal in place while it dries.
Warning: Glue can seep through decal and make you and the rocket become one.
America 250 decals
NASA decals: Put very light amount of glue on booster and then start to place the bottom part of NASA on the booster. Be patient. Don't glue your fingers to model.
Artemis decal and flag decal. Yes, I know, this is actually supposed to be a NASA meatball logo but I liked this and spent a lot of work making all of these details from scratch. I also thinned all decals so they will look and fit better than the ones you see in these photos.
