About Bridg Manufacturing

Bridg Manufacturing was founded from a lifelong fascination with engineering, aviation, and the incredible technological advances that have shaped history.

As a kid, I was always drawn to realistic models. Whether it was military aircraft, vehicles, weapons, recreational vehicles, construction equipment, trucks and trailers, or anything with an engine and a purpose, I wanted to have the real thing. I was tired of getting models that looked cartoonish. I was also fasinated with war and had an immense appreciation for our military and the power of our armed forces. That curiosity has never gone away.

That passion eventually met another interest: 3D printing.

What started as a hobby quickly became an opportunity to create something others could enjoy. Rather than producing childish models, I wanted to find something realistic that people could build themselves. I've ensured every model is designed to fit together with precision, allowing builders to experience the satisfaction of assembling the aircraft piece by piece.

Today, Bridg Manufacturing specializes in manufacturing snap-together 3D printed model kits inspired by aviation and other engineering icons. Each kit is printed, and packaged in Ogden Utah using multi-color 3D printing technology, eliminating the need for paint while keeping assembly simple and enjoyable. While I currently pay others for their designs, I have redesigned them to make the most effective and efficient manufacturing process to enable batch production. This has made it a viable business option in delivering these amazing kits to you at an affordable price. I intend on creating my own products one day but I just couldn't wait to dive into starting my own business and getting these kits out to people who either don't want to, or can't afford to get a 3D printer themselves.

Looking Ahead

Aircraft are only the beginning.

My long-term vision is to build a complete lineup of model kits spanning many industries and interests. That includes military and civilian aircraft (SKY), military, construction, farming vehicles and buildings (SURFACE), space shuttles, rockets, missiles (SPACE), military and civilian watercraft (SEA), and many other products, vehicles and machines that represent innovation and hard work.

The goal is to create a collection where there is something for every enthusiast, whether they're passionate about aviation, warfare, farming, construction, transportation, or space exploration.

As Bridg Manufacturing grows, I also hope to expand into products designed specifically for younger builders. For now, our kits are intended for ages 14 and up while we continue building the company and procuring products responsibly. One day, I would love to create toys and educational products that inspire the next generation of engineers, builders, pilots, and innovators.

Sustainability

All excess 3D printing material Bridg Manufacturing produces is industrially composted. This is possible, as the material of our model kits are made with PLA, which is a plant-based thermoplastic bioplastic. Unlike traditional petroleum-based plastics, it is made from renewable resources like fermented corn starch or sugarcane. Unlike conventional plastics that can take hundreds of years to decompose, PLA is industrially compostable. Under commercial composting conditions, it breaks down into natural elements in a few months. We plan to send all our 3D printing material waste to Lehi Utah where it will be industrially composted.

In the future, we promise, as technology advances, that we will create our products using 100% organically compostable filaments that can withstand building and enjoying, then disappear, as if they never existed, once they are no longer enjoyed to their fullest extend.

Lastly, we promise to get away fully from plastic bags and stickers by the end of 2027. While plastic makes things easier for you and us, there is no need when there are other packaging and labeling opportunities available.

More Than a Model

I hope every kit we sell becomes more than just something sitting on a shelf.

I hope it reminds someone of an airshow they attended, a family member who served, a career in aviation, an appreciation for engineering, or simply the excitement of seeing an aircraft roar overhead.

If one of our models sparks a conversation, inspires someone to learn more about how these incredible machines work, or encourages someone's son or daughter to pursue engineering, aviation, or manufacturing, then we've accomplished something much bigger than selling a model kit.
